Transportation to and from Minneapolis
All students should plan to travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota if attending class in person. There are many ways to get here by bus, train, plane and car. Please discuss your travel plans with The Travel Academy before confirming those plans to prevent arrival conflicts.
By Plane- Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP)
Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) is divided into two terminals and is serviced by multiple air carriers including Delta, United, Air Canada, Frontier, American, Alaska Airlines, Spririt Airlines, Great Lakes Airlines, and Air France at Terminal 1. Southwest, Sun Country, Condor Airlines, and Iceland Air operate from Terminal 2.
By Train- Amtrak
The St. Paul Midway Amtrak Station is directly serviced by the Amtrak Route Empire Builder from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Wisconsin and Chicago, Illinois. Many other routes connect to the Empire Builder in Chicago, allowing you to travel from the West, the South and the East. View ALL of the routes offered by Amtrak and find your nearest station. The Amtrak code to arrive in St. Paul/ Minneapolis is MSP.
By Bus- Greyhound
Greyhound offers an extensive route making it very easy to travel to Minneapolis from almost anywhere in the country. Learn more about traveling by bus. Greyhound even has a stop at The Mall of America, just minutes away from our school and Crew Quarters.
