Travel Academy Success

Congratulations to Samantha T! She accepted a position aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines Pride of America ship and will be sailing the Hawaiian islands.

“I had never experienced so many butterflies’ flying around my stomach during the five hour drive to my new home in Eagan, MN.  I was completely stepping out of my comfort zone moving to a different state and to a place where I knew absolutely no one.  The apartments we stayed in are extremely accommodating and it is impossible to not make a new friend or two with so many Travel Academy students running around.  I am so grateful for the many beautiful people I got to meet, all from different backgrounds who are all so eager to learn and help one another out.   Three weeks into the program I was presented an amazing opportunity to fly out to Chicago and interview with Norwegian Cruise Lines working aboard Pride of America a cruise ship that sails around Hawaii 365 days a year.  A week after my interview I had received an email congratulating me on a job and I was hired for a higher position than I even applied for! I was so ecstatic and I could never have accomplished this without the help from the staff at The Travel Academy.   The teachers are so involved in helping out each and every student to achieve their dreams.   The opportunities are endless and I highly recommend this academy to anyone who wants to pursue a career in the travel industry.”
