The Flight Attendant - Movie Review

The Flight Attendant is a series found only on HBO. It is a humor/drama based movie based on the book from Chris Bohjalian’s. Kaley Cuoco, known for her role on the 12 year series, “The Big Bang Theory”, plays Cassie Bowden, an international flight attendant. Cassie finds herself getting romantically involved with a passenger, and the next day finds herself in the hotel room of her new fling (now dead) and no memory of the preceding night. Cassie makes a string of bad decisions which complicates her situation and makes her look like she committed a murder.
Kaley Cuoco takes bold move to reposition her career of something more than just a sitcom sidekick. It is a very drastic role change from a geeky comedy actress to a racy, drunken party girl, filled putting herself into multiple “adult” situations.
The Flight Attendant versus real Flight Attendants
Those who are flight attendants do have the ability to travel for free. They meet many different types of people, get to explore new cities, and get paid for traveling. Most flight attendants are not party going thrill seekers who just want to find the impulsive area of interest. Flight attendants are highly responsible people who must show up for work on time or the airplane leaves without them. They have responsibility for the safety of everyone on the aircraft. In addition, flight attendants are highly regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
